With over 300,000 objects, our collection focussing on life in the DDR is one of the largest in the world. We loan our objects to other institutions and make them accessible to researchers. The only condition is that the objects are kept in strictly controlled conditions.

We are also happy to develop and implement exhibition concepts for the presentation of our objects. The sheer size of our collection enables us to cover almost every aspect of the history of the DDR. You can choose whether you wish to show the exhibition for a day, a week or even a year.
